Sneaker Condition Guide
Our product cards use a clear fire rating instead of letter grades. This guide explains what each flame level means before you buy B-stock, outlet, display, or near-new sneakers.
Why the Fire Rating Matters
A2Stock sells authentic sneakers from overstock, outlet stock, display pairs, and selected returns. Every pair is checked individually, photographed, and assigned a condition rating based on visible wear, cosmetic defects, sole condition, cleanliness, and packaging.
馃敟馃敟馃敟馃敟馃敟 Best
The cleanest condition on A2Stock. The sneaker looks new or almost new, with no visible wear during normal inspection. This is the closest option to retail condition while still giving you B-stock or outlet pricing.
Typical Characteristics
- No or almost no visible wear
- Very clean upper, interior, and sole
- Best choice when you want the cleanest available pair
馃敟馃敟馃敟馃敟 Good
A very strong everyday choice. The sneaker may show tiny signs of handling, try-on marks, light sole dust, or minor packaging wear, but still looks fresh and well kept.
Typical Characteristics
- Minimal try-on, storage, or handling signs possible
- No major cosmetic defects
- Strong balance between price and clean appearance
馃敟馃敟馃敟 Average
Balanced value condition. The pair is fully wearable and authentic, but visible signs such as light creases, small scuffs, sole marks, or minor cosmetic flaws may be present.
Typical Characteristics
- Light creases, scuffs, sole marks, or display signs possible
- Still wearable and visually solid
- Good choice when you want a better price
馃敟馃敟 Bad
Noticeable wear or defects are expected. This can include visible scuffs, discoloration, glue marks, display handling, or a damaged/missing original box. The important defects should be shown in the product photos.
Typical Characteristics
- Defects should be reviewed carefully before purchase
- Detail photos matter most at this level
- Higher discount, less perfect appearance
馃敟 Very bad
The highest-discount condition level. The sneaker remains wearable, but has strong visible flaws, heavier handling marks, or clear cosmetic defects. Choose this level when price matters more than appearance.
Typical Characteristics
- Strong visible wear or cosmetic defects
- For buyers focused on maximum savings
- Always review the condition photos closely
